You can call me Doctor... And we can all mean it :)

So much happened this week!!

First and foremost...

Annie and I passed our step 3 board exams!!

It's legitimately an amazing feeling to know that I deserve to be where I am in life and that my hard work has paid off so far!!

I had a fab FaceTime sesh with Elise post-boards scores :)

And I'll be back in Tulsa mid-may, y'all... To cloak one of my best best friends ever, Matt Lippmann, as he graduates from medical school as a big kid doctor!!

I learned a lot of stuff this week too.

1) dodging potholes is a full time job, guys. And they are fierce up here.

2) 450° always wins agains skin:

3) I can sleep for 30 hours unintentionally.

4) when you sleep for 30 hours, it's impossible to know what day it actually is when you wake up

5) hockey is sort of legit. First otters game in the books with a 9-0 home win!

6) I can semi-volunteer at a bridal show and go to a hockey game in the same day.

7) between sleep and hockey, none of my to-do list was accomplished this weekend.

8) the grilled stuft nacho from Taco Bell is bleeping bleep. Worth. Every. Calorie.

Thinking of starting juicing soon... Anyone have any experiences - positive or negative - on how to fit it into a busy life without necessarily lugging a juicer all over a hospital all day?

Things to remember anytime someone from the non-frozen tundra decides to cross over into narnia... Layers take time to put on and time to take off. Allow 5 minutes to thaw and scrape your car. At each departure. Fishtailing is actually a normal daily occurrence. Glad I played so much "burnout" back in the day.

Planning for Vegas at the end of April with the besties... To celebrate my birthday and see Britney Spears. Do any of my people have any wonderful tips about navigating that glorious city where I've never been??

And basically, to sum up the last two weeks of my life, is a diagram of the United States:

High heels and big hair to all, no matter how cold you may be!

Big Game Bob. My hero.

Only coach to win all four bowl games plus a BCS championship.

"The team who wasn't supposed to be here..."

"First time anyone has scored over 40 points on Alabama since 1969?!"

Almost too many statistics to keep straight. Red shirt freshman QB. Adrian Peterson on the sidelines.

I am so proud to be a Sooner tonight. There are really no words. There's only one OKLAHOMA.

The second half in photos?

Not a third quarter team.

We're a 4th quarter team.

Sure enough...
Pass interference??

Touchdown with less than a minute to go??

And the Sooner Magic is back with a win!

I may not have a photo ID right now, but I can sleep soundly on an Oklahoma win in NOLA.

Good knight moon, good knight stars, good knight Sooners!

Boomer Effing Sooner!!

Secondary to multiple requests, blogging is resuming.

For now.

Today is January 2, 2014, and it's halftime of the Sugar Bowl. Oklahoma vs. Alabama.

A rundown of events so far:

Since Erie is getting slammed with the residuals of winter storm Hercules, the usual watch site of BWW was eliminated. Therefore, I leapt valiantly into my little Hallie Honda (my mom still calls her the cozy coupe) on a hunt for Blue Moon, the beer I drink when we win.

Somewhere between cash register and front door, I dropped my wallet. At this moment I'm still drivers license, debit, and credit cardless.

All in the name of the Bud Light slogan, it's only weird if it doesn't work.

So I've been sitting in front of the TV since 7:45 EST, geared up in jersey, big hair, bow, and Bradford-jerseyed white dog.

We couldn't wait for kickoff.

We may not have legal identification, but we know we are Sooners!

The first possession, those Alabama Tiders scored a touchdown.

But then, OU got comfy in NOLA.

First, a touchdown for the Sooners!

(It's okay, all, I'm the future of mental health... Maybe I should do a study on quantity of selfies correlating with quantity of touchdowns??)

And then, Oklahoma just took the (bleep) off!! This qb we've never seen before (well, we have, but not like THIS!!) all of a sudden is throwing and running and dodging and...

Alabama fumbles?!?! First fumble in the red zone all season?? Heck yes!

We were so excited!

Then, Alabama missed a field goal right before the half?!

Annie and I were LITERALLY glowing!!

Oklahoma goes into the half 31-17??

And that concludes this particular halftime. A very unamused Annie ran off to hide (likely under the bed) from being in any more selfies...

And now back to you, ESPN.
